Dr. Riehl is originally from Corvallis, Oregon. She completed her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University but returned home and graduated from Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She completed an internship at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital in 2012. Dr. Riehl’s veterinary interests include sports medicine and internal medicine.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Riehl enjoys long-distance running, ultimate frisbee, competitive horse-back riding (three-day eventing), and going to concerts. Throughout her years of animal service, she has miraculously adopted only two pets: a faithful black Lab mix named Sally and a cat named Otter.
