Dr. Shelly Toub grew up in Voorhees, New Jersey. She obtained her Bachelors in Animal Science from University of Maryland, College Park, and also walked away with some lifetime friends and a love of Maryland. For veterinary school, she attended the University of Florida. She loves the diversity of veterinary medicine, from internal medicine to surgery & dental care, behavioral health, and, of course, happy wellness visits. She values a team approach to patient care, prioritizing communication and finding solutions that work best for each individual pet & their family.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Toub spends her free time with her loving husband Russell, and their two dogs, Eleven (called 'El') and Ollie. She enjoys hiking, board games and video games, reading, and is trying to find her green thumb with gardening.
